The Family Farming Program run by Grupo BBF (Brasil BioFuels) in the state of Pará has already paid around R$16 million for the oil palm fruit supplied by 400 rural producers in the first half of the year. In all, more than 19,000 tons of oil palm fruit were bought by the company from family farmers, a harvest that is already approximately 20% higher than in the same period in 2022.
