Lecture on Biodiversity and Sustainability in the Vila da Paz Community, Acará/PA 1min May 30, 2024 On May 30, Grupo BBF held a talk on biodiversity at the Vila da Paz Community in Mariquita, Acará/PA, organized by the Environment team. The meeting discussed the concept of biodiversity, the importance of environmental preservation and the company's initiatives to promote biodiversity in Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) and Legal Reserves (RL). The residents participated actively, sharing local cultural practices and discussing the need to adopt a more sustainable vision of the use of natural resources. The community requested support from Grupo BBF to develop a community garden and receive training on soil use and conservation. In addition, partnerships were requested for social actions aimed at health, well-being and strengthening the community. We remain committed to initiatives that strengthen the sustainability and development of Amazonian communities, working together to promote care for the environment and local sustainable growth.
