On February 20, 2024, we reiterated our commitment to social and environmental responsibility by carrying out a significant action in the Terra Viva and Betel communities. In partnership between the Environment Area and the Operational Safety Area (OHS), an environmental dialog was held in the Terra Viva community together with the Betel community.

The initiative consisted of an educational talk on the "importance of the standing forest", covering environmental, social and economic aspects. In addition, seedlings were distributed to the community to encourage sustainable practices and appreciation of the local ecosystem.

One of the enriching moments of the event was our round table discussion, where community representatives shared their perceptions of nature conservation and preservation practices, with an emphasis on the importance of native vegetation. They also highlighted their interest in exploring economic activities that are compatible with environmental preservation, such as the Agroforestry System (SAF), an approach that integrates trees with agricultural practices.

The fact that the participants took part shows the success of the action and reinforces Grupo BBF 's commitment to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable development in the communities.

We remain committed to this purpose, aware that building a more sustainable future is a collective journey, in which every action contributes significantly to the positive transformation of the collective. Grupo BBF remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Together we can build a brighter future for everyone!
