Contributing to access to health and well-being in the Bucaia community 2min February 17, 2023 Municipality of Vale do Acará /PA - February, 2023 In 2024, Grupo BBF began its third year of activity in the state of Pará with a significant contribution to the community of Bucaia, located in the municipality of Acará, in the northeast of the state. This contribution was made by donating essential materials for the construction of a health center, which will benefit more than 300 families living in the region. In a ceremony held on February 17 at the headquarters of the Acará Infrastructure Department, Mayor Pedro Paulo Gouvêa, known as "Pedro da Balsa", formally received the donation agreement from the representatives of Grupo BBF. This gesture of solidarity marks the start of work on the new health unit, which will be carried out by the town hall in partnership with Grupo BBF. The community has been waiting 12 years for this health center to be built. The new structure will provide urgent and emergency care for local families, as well as housing social programs focused on the health of women and the elderly.
